Police in Bridgeport said they're investigating a double shooting reported Sunday night.
Police said they were notified of the shooting on Hurd Avenue just after 8 p.m. As officers arrived, they said witnesses told them the two people that were shot were driven to St. Vincent's Hospital via private vehicle.
At the shooting scene, police said they located a tan, four-door Buick in which the victims were inside. The vehicle, police said, had numerous bullet holes in it.
Kenneth Ebanks, 22, of Bridgeport, was in the right rear seat and suffered multiple gunshots to his abdomen and arm. The second victim, identified as Ashley Llyons, 22, of Bridgeport, was in the right rear seat and suffered a gunshot to her hip.
Witnesses to the shooting said a vehicle pulled up along side the Buick and shots rang out.
Both victims are in serious but stable condition.
