PD: Phoenix school evacuated after bomb threat

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Students returned to a Phoenix elementary school after they were evacuated following a bomb threat Thursday morning, a Phoenix police spokesman said.

Sgt. Trent Crump said someone at Longview Elementary School called police to tell them they had received a bomb threat.

Osborn School District Superintendent Wilma Basnett said the students were taken to nearby Montecito School north of Indian School Road along Seventh Street.

The students were allowed to return after no bomb was found.

No other information was immediately available.
