KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Kansas City police say no bomb was found after someone called in a threat at the downtown headquarters for tax preparer H&R Block.

Police spokesman Darin Snapp said someone called in to say a bomb had been placed on the loading dock at the building Tuesday morning.

A bomb and arson squad was called 11:30 a.m. to the building on Walnut Street between 12th and 13th streets.

Snapp says police searched the area and found no bomb or anything else dangerous.

On Monday, police were called to investigate another suspicious package inside the mail room at the same building. It was later determined to be harmless.
