A 13-year-old girl who the Harrisonville Police Department had issued an Endangered Person Advisory for has been found safe.
Lt. Mike Prindle with the Harrisonville Police Department said Jade A. Hinton is currently at the Independence Police Department where she is safe and sound. He didn't expand on where she was found or if she was with anyone.
Police said Jade was last seen getting off the bus at Harrisonville Middle School about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and had not been seen since. The school is located at 601 South Highland Dr.
Police said this is out of character for Jade to go missing and they believe she might have got in a car with a 15-year-old boy and a driver Tuesday morning. The boy is believed to have ties to Kansas City, MO, and Lee's Summit.
Jade's father said his daughter is an honor roll student.
