Waterbury woman killed in crash

WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) -

Waterbury police said 28-year-old Mallory Mailhot was driving south on Thomaston Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed over the center line, hitting a Honda Accord head-on.

The Waterbury woman was driving a 2003 Nissan Murano at about 2 a.m. Saturday when the accident occurred.

Mailhot was transported by ambulance to Waterbury Hospital, where she later died, according to police.

The driver of the Honda Accord was not seriously injured.
