The Wichita State Shockers are headed to the Final Four in Atlanta.
The entire town has been buzzing since the team qualified for the Final Four last weekend and Wednesday afternoon about 250 fans greeted the team as they rolled out of Charles Koch Arena.
Inside, head coach Gregg Marshall conducted national interviews.
"This is the first time we have played the No. 1 team since like 1967, when the Shockers played UCLA," he said.
Outside the arena, players were signing autographs and doing interviews with local media.
"It's been crazy. Our fans rallied behind us and stand behind us and we have something to play for," guard Tekele Cotton said.
The team left Wednesday and play on Saturday night.
Viewers can see Wichita State take on Louisville on KCTV5 on Saturday at 5 p.m. The game will be followed by Michigan taking on Syracuse, also on KCTV5.
