Police are investigating a shooting that left two in the hospital Saturday morning. It happened near the intersection of Fifth Street and Everett Avenue in Kansas City, KS, about 4 a.m.

Emergency crews took both victims to the hospital. Police said they haven't made any arrests and an investigation is under way.

Sometime before 3 p.m. another shooting was reported at 14th Street and Armstrong Avenue. Police said a 14-year-old boy was walking when a vehicle drove by and he and the people in the vehicle exchanged words. The vehicle then came around a second time and shot the teen.

Then, about 3 p.m. a third shooting was reported at 55th Street and State Line Road. Police said it was a self-inflicted shooting and it is believed that someone accidentally shot themselves in the leg. The person is expected to recover from their injuries.
