Shotgun fired at Troutdale Motel 6 window

Posted: Updated:

Troutdale police say someone fired a shotgun at a motel early Monday morning.

Officers went the Motel 6 on Northwest Frontage Road just before 1 a.m.

Police said they found a shotgun shell in the parking lot of the motel and a window that looked shot out.

The window was in the only upper floor unit that was rented at the time, officers said.

The woman who rented out the room with the broken window was unaccounted for, as of Monday morning.

Police did not say if the woman was in the room when the shot was fired.

Officers were also looking into the possibility that other people were in the room at the time as well.

There were no signs of blood or that anyone was hurt.

Witnesses reported seeing a white man in a green pick-up truck leaving the scene.

As of Monday morning there was no further details on possible suspect information.
