KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
A St. Patrick's Day DUI checkpoint in Kansas City added up to 27 arrests for police.
Police said they stopped 1,127 vehicles Sunday night during the six-hour checkpoint at West 39th Terrace and Southwest Trafficway.
Officers also issued three other traffic violations, five citations for driving with a suspended license, one person was cited for careless driving and two people were arrested on Kansas City warrants.
There were also six people cited for possession of marijuana and one person for stealing.
