Suspect in reported stolen vehicle crashes after police chase

Construction workers said they were out on a job when they saw their stolen Ford truck. They called authorities who pursued the vehicle.

The driver wound up crashing near Central Avenue and Interstate 70. This occurred just moments after police had called off the chase.

The driver fled on foot, but was later caught by police.

The suspect was taken by an ambulance to an area hospital for injuries he suffered in the incident.
