NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

Denver Broncos safety and Las Vegas native Quinton Carter, 24, was arrested for allegedly cheating a local casino in a craps game.

According to a complaint and arrest report released by the Clark County District Attorney's Office on Thursday, on Sunday, March 10, Carter was gambling at Texas Station hotel and casino in North Las Vegas.

It's alleged that he increased his wager by $5 three times after the outcome of the craps game was known to him.

"We call it pressing the bet, you add more money to your wager when you know you have a winning bet," said James Taylor, deputy chief of enforcement at the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Surveillance video allegedly caught Carter in the act.

"We do look at the video tape, can't talk about the specifics of what was seen, but there was probable cause to make the arrest," Taylor said.

Carter denied the accusation but was arrested and taken to Clark County Detention Center, where he was charged with three counts of fraudulent acts.

Carter was also charged in connection with a failure to appear warrant for a prior charge related to marijuana.
