GRANDVIEW, MO (KCTV) -

Two people were injured after, police say, an argument led to a shootout in the parking lot of a gas station.

Grandview police said when a south Kansas City night club closed for the night some people gathered in the parking lot of a gas station in the 11900 block of Blue Ridge.

An argument between two men resulted in an exchange of gun fire about 3:40 a.m. Sunday.

Both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. One of the victims was released from the hospital.

Grandview and Kansas City police responded and found two vehicles and a few people who are thought to be involved.

Grandview detectives are conducting an investigation.

Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
