Olathe Health Systems to end coverage to 800 patients on Tricare

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -

Olathe Health Systems will most likely eliminate coverage to 800 patients on Tricare by April 1.

Tricare is an insurance program for uniformed service members.

Mike Jensen, chief operating and developing officer for Olathe Medical Center, said Tricare's administrative requirements are too costly.

Olathe Health Systems include Olathe Medical Center, Miami County Medical and 38 Clinics.
