Crash closes westbound I-70 near downtown

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A crash has shut down traffic on westbound Interstate 70 near Main Street.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area.

The crash happened at 1:36 p.m. Friday. The section closed is between the Broadway Bridge and I-35.

No serious injuries were reported, police said. Tow trucks are on the scene and the road should be reopened by 2:30 p.m.
