Plane goes off runway at Olathe airport

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -

A plane went off the runway at an airport in Olathe Thursday afternoon.

The small, single-engine plane slid off the runway of the Johnson County Executive Airport about 3:30 p.m. The airport is located at 151st Street and Pflumm Road.

The deputy directory for the airport said the Piper Malibu six-seater rolled off the runway and the nose gear collapsed. He said no one was injured.

There is no word at this time what led up to the incident or how many people were on the plane.
