Police investigate shooting in KCK

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

It was a hectic night for police in KCK after a robbery and double shooting.

The shooting was reported about 7:40 p.m. on State Avenue near Ann Avenue. Police say robbers targeted The VIP, an accessory store.

Two people were shot, and while police don't believe their injuries are life-threatening, they said they are still investigating.

Police aren't sure if the victims are employees, customers or suspects.

One person was taken into custody by police.
