
Using Leftover Beer & Wine for Cooking

White Wine Chicken
Pounded flat chicken breast
Salted and peppered each side then coated with flour
Frying pan on med/high with olive oil, then better
Sauté for 3 - 4 min per side
Remove from pan, then deglaze with white wine and reduce
Add some Parmesan cheese and lime juice
Pour sauce over chicken
Tomato Sauce & Meatballs
Sauté pan: Heat up red sauce
Add leftover red wine and reduce
Serve over meatballs (noodles, chicken, etc.)
Beer Cheese Dipping Sauce
Melt 1 tbs butter in pan over med/low heat
1 tbs flour
Mix until blended
Add 1/2 cup milk and whisk
Turn up heat
Add a more milk and keep whisking until a nice sauce forms
Add cheddar cheese (Sharp, etc.)
Add mustard, salt, and pepper
Pour in Boulevard Irish ale (St. Pat's) and mix
To warm back up, add a little more beer and microwave.
