Kansas City shelter opens for residents without power

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

The American Red Cross is opening a shelter in Kansas City for residents who do not have power.

The shelter is at the Southeast Community Center, 4201 E. 63rd Trafficway.

The American Red Cross is working with emergency managers to determine if additional shelters are needed. More shelters are expected to be opened.
