Teen suffers serious injuries after being struck by vehicle

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police said a teen has suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened in the area of Blue Ridge Boulevard and 107th Street just before 3 p.m. Police said the 14-year-old boy was crossing the street with a friend when he was hit.

The boy was rushed to Children's Mercy Hospital. He was last listed in serious, but stable condition.
