Papa Lew's Mississippi Catfish Fillet

2 Cups of White Corn Flour

1 Tablespoon of Salt

1 Tablespoon of Pepper

1 Teaspoon of Paprika

1 Table Spoon of Black Pepper

1 Table Spoon of Lawry's Seasoning Salt

4 Catfish Fillets (6oz each)

Vegetable Oil


  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, seasoning salt, paprika, and pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl mix egg and milk until it is consistent.
  3. Dip the catfish fillets in the milk and egg mixture and dredge in the flour mixture to lightly coat.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and cook the catfish fillets 4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
