GA man accused of sexually assaulting Clarksville woman

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A 53-year-old woman in Montgomery County said she was sexually assaulted after meeting a Georgia man through a phone chat line.
The woman said she first met Ratrellis Napoleon Garnett, 44, of North Augusta, GA, at a service station on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. They then decided to go back to his hotel room to have something to drink.
At the hotel, the woman said Garnett grabbed her by the neck, threw her on the bed and sexually assaulted her multiple times.
She managed to leave the room and call police. When authorities arrived, police said the woman had scratches on her forehead and a small bump over her right eye. She was taken to the hospital by police.
Garnett was booked into Montgomery County Jail and charged with aggravated rape and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
