Witnesses say the men, wearing black ski masks, entered the Kicks 66, located in the 8100 block of West 151st Street, about 6:30 a.m. Sunday and demanded money and other merchandise from the clerk.

One suspect was reportedly armed with a rifle.  He was described to be wearing blue jeans and tennis shoes.

The other suspect was wearing a brown jacket, a red shirt, blue jeans, white shoes, black gloves and armed with a black handgun.

The clerk was not injured during the robbery.

The suspects fled in a red, mid-size vehicle and were last seen turning northbound onto US 69 Highway from 151st Street.

Police hope to release surveillance pictures from the robbery on Monday.

The other gas station robbery over the weekend in Overland Park happened early Saturday morning at the Quick Trip on Shawnee Mission Parkway and Metcalf Avenue.

A man with a handgun robbed the place and took off.   Police do not believe the two hold-ups are connected.
