BONNER SPRINGS, KS (KCTV) -
Police have one man in custody following a car chase and short foot pursuit.
The incident happened shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday when Bonner Springs police received a call about a possible burglary suspect.
The man, driving a green car, eventually was stopped in the parking lot of a used car dealership on K-32 just west of Interstate 435.
The man ran from police but was soon caught. He did sustain a minor injury during the chase, and was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
No police officers were injured.
The Kansas Highway Patrol and Edwardsville Police Department assisted in the call.
