Treeno's Xerox EIP Connector allows users to scan and file paper documents directly from a Xerox multifunctional printer into Treeno’s secure and audited document management solution.
Portsmouth, NH (PRWEB) February 13, 2013
Harnessing the power of Xerox Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) technology, Treeno Software makes it fast and easy to label and file documents from a Xerox multifunctional printer (MFP) directly into Treeno’s secure and audited document management system.
Working from the Xerox MFP control panel, Xerox customers can convert their paper documents into electronic files and then choose where they want to store those files in the Treeno repository. Documents can be immediately filed in a Treeno cabinet, or they can be sent to a user inbox for later processing. When filing to a cabinet, users have the option of storing the document in an existing folder or creating a new one. Information about the document is entered directly at the Xerox device’s LCD display. That information is then used to later retrieve the document from the Treeno system. Users can also choose to extend their Treeno search capabilities by filing their scanned documents to new or existing folder tabs, making it even easier to get to the exact information they need—when they need it.
“With the Treeno EIP Connector, users can file and label the document at the pane of their Xerox device,” said Will Thibodeau, Chief Technology Officer, Treeno Software, “This gives a convenient way to readily capture paper and route the documents to the Treeno secured, audited, document management system.”
The Treeno EIP Connector for Xerox is another example of how Treeno seamlessly integrates with the tools used every day to manage an organization’s business practices. “Treeno’s latest investment into the Treeno EIP Connector further solidifies Treeno’s commitment to Xerox’s ecosystem,” said Steve Tentindo, President, Treeno Software.
Treeno Software helps to reduce costs of operations by providing authorized users with immediate access to business information from their desktop. Gone is the need to manually file, copy, and distribute documents, as well as the risk of misplacing or losing documents. Instead, information can be accessed in seconds, allowing company employees to better service their clients and internal staff. With Treeno’s secure, audited document management solution, users have immediate access to their business information anytime, anywhere.
Treeno’s document management solution can be based in the cloud or on premise at the customer location. Treeno is looking to extend it partnerships within the Xerox community by providing a cost-effective document management solution to dealers for resale.
