A Van Horn High School student faced some tough questions from Independence police after allegedly threatening to harm fellow students.
The Independence School District issued a statement Monday afternoon about the alleged threats.
"Any threat that affecting (sic) student safety is taken very seriously, and the district has worked closely with police on this matter," the statement said. "Again, the student in question is in police custody."
Officials did not detail the specifics of the alleged threat or say when they were made or how they came to light.
