Police: Man abducted in downtown KC, forced to withdraw cash from ATM

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A man reported being abducted and robbed at gunpoint while walking downtown early Sunday morning.

The 23-year-old told police he was near 13th Street and Grand Boulevard about 2:45 a.m. when the suspects approached him from behind and pulled a gun on him.

Police said one of the suspects then forced him into a vehicle and drove him to the Bank of America, located at 31st Street and Main streets, where they forced him to draw a total of $400 from the ATM.

According to police, the suspects then fled in the vehicle.  Detailed descriptions of the suspects or car were not available Monday.
