Valdosta State offensive guard Edmund Kugbila has been invited to the NFL draft combine in two weeks in Indianapolis.
Blazers head coach David Dean believes Kugbila is the first ever VSU player to receive an invitation to the NFL combine.
Kugbila was a three years starter for Valdosta State on their offensive line.
He was a Division II All-American and was selected to play in the first ever Raycom College Football All-Star Classic last month in Montgomery along with teammate Ryan Schraeder.
Kugbila is currently in Atlanta working out in preparation for the combine and upcoming NFL draft.
VSU will open spring practice on February 15 and their spring game is March 9.
