Sugar Creek police, Jackson County sheriff's deputies surround home

SUGAR CREEK, MO (KCTV) -

Authorities surrounded a home in Sugar Creek Thursday night.

Sugar Creek police and Jackson County sheriff's deputies responded to the home at 2125 N. River Rd. A suspect was holed up inside the home.

The incident began about 5:30 p.m. Chopper5 was over the scene just before 7 p.m. when someone was taken in handcuffs.
