Home surrounded by authorities in east Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police and federal authorities have entered a home on Kansas City's far east side Wednesday morning.

Authorities have not said yet why they arrived at the home just after 7 a.m. near East 37th Street and Ditzler Avenue.

The neighborhood is east of Blue Ridge Cutoff and just north of Interstate 70.

Mostly plain clothes authorities are on the scene.
