KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
Authorities are looking for the suspect in a deadly shooting Monday night.
A man was found shot to death about 8:25 p.m. near Seventh Street and Brighton Avenue.
Investigators say they are looking into whether the shooting was connected to a power outage in the area around the same time.
"It appears they were outside working on a vehicle when, I guess, the power outage happened, and then the lights came back on. That is when they saw this male approaching them," said Sgt. Marisa Barnes, police spokeswoman.
Police said the suspect was wearing all black clothing and possibly a ski mask. He was last seen running west on Seventh Street.
