Injuries reported after semi overturns on Front Street

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Injuries have been reported after a semi crashed on an interstate on ramp Monday afternoon.

The crash has closed the ramp from Front Street to Interstate 435 in east Kansas City.

The rig flipped while entering the interstate southbound from the street.

Ambulances were dispatched to transport injured parties. No word on the extent of the injuries.

This occurred about 1:30 p.m.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
