Woman found shot to death in Kansas City, KS

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Authorities are investigating after woman in her early 40s was found shot to death Saturday afternoon.

Police responded about 1 p.m. to the 600 block of Tauromee Avenue on a reported body. When officers arrived, they found a woman dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The identity of the victim has not been released pending family notification.

Authorities said they have no suspect, but they are asking for help finding a gold 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 with Oklahoma licence plates 248-HOB.

Anyone with information regarding the homicide investigation, they are urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
