Rollover wreck critically injures driver in Overland Park

OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -

A man was critically injured in a single-car rollover accident Wednesday morning.

The wreck happened about 5:40 a.m. at in the 11500 block of Mastin Street, just east of Highway 69 and south of College Boulevard.

Police said a preliminary investigation shows the driver, said to be in his 20s, was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control.

The vehicle rolled over and struck a tree. The injured man was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
