Perry man killed in Miami County crash

MIAMI COUNTY, KS (KCTV) -

A Perry man died Monday morning in a crash that happened in Miami County.

A spokesperson for the Miami County, KS, Sheriff's Office said emergency crews responded to U.S. 69 Highway and 311th Street at about 5:45 a.m. Monday morning.

Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a 2009 Chevrolet SUV had left the roadway and overturned.

Mark Anderson, 55, of Perry, KS, was ejected from the vehicle. Anderson died at the scene.

Investigators believe Anderson was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
