Quinton's evacuated after nearby gas meter hit

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Late nighters at a Kansas City restaurant had an abrupt end to their evening after a driver hit a nearby gas meter.

Police evacuated Quinton's on Wornall Road and 75th Street as a precaution.

The driver allegedly hit the meter then took off.

Police are investigating the hit-and-run.
