Water main break closes Truman Road at Jackson Avenue

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A water main break and the icy road conditions it created led to the closure of East Truman Road at Jackson Avenue.

Crews are working on necessary repairs and East Truman Road should reopen to single-lane traffic later on Wednesday.

The break happened about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. The line is six inches, and it created a big mess.

Nearby businesses and residences experienced low water pressure. The water will be turned off temporarily at points during the repairs.
