2 taken into custody after sheriff's deputies chase driver of stolen vehicle

Two people are now in custody after a chase involving a stolen vehicle.

Monday shortly before 11:40 a.m., Platte County Sheriff's deputies were involved in a pursuit with a vehicle that was stolen in Kansas City, KS. The vehicle had also reportedly been involved in an assault against a law enforcement officer in KCK.

Platte County deputies pursued the vehicle to Dearborn, MO, and briefly lost sight of the it. The vehicle was found in Dearborn near the intersection of Second and July streets.

Sheriff's deputies were told by a witness that two people had run into a house in nearby and Darren M. Jameson, 28, of Claycomo, MO, and Natalie R. Fox, 27, of Excelsior Springs, MO, where both found at the home and taken into custody on outstanding warrants and various other charges related to the pursuit.
