Police investigating homicide after finding person shot

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police are investigating a homicide after they said they found a person shot outside an apartment building Monday.

Officers got to the apartment located near Missouri and Highland avenues about 12:30 p.m. The location is just east of The Paseo and north of Independence Ave.

Police said the man's body was found in the snow by his wife.

Police crime scene investigators are also investigating.
