Police seek suspect after man found fatally shot in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A man has died from his injuries after he was shot.

Kansas City police said they were called to 42nd Street and Olive Avenue about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m.

The victim was identified as Shannon D. Milligan, 34. He served 18 months in jail following a 2009 conviction for vehicle theft and resisting arrest.

Police have not released a suspect description.
