Person injured after robber fires shot inside Sonic restaurant

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police are searching for the man who fired a shot inside a Sonic fast-food restaurant, injuring one person.

The shot was fired inside a Sonic at Jackson and Independence avenues in Kansas City.

The suspect robbed the restaurant and fired a shot that went through a wall. A person inside the restaurant was hit by a piece of wall, but is expected to recover.
