KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

One person is dead and Interstate 70 is back open after a motorcycle crash Thursday night.

Police said the motorcyclist, later identified as 31-year-old Jonathan George Dudley, crashed on eastbound I-70 near the Interstate 635 interchange.

Investigators said Dudley tried to take the ramp to I-635 northbound, but his motorcycle instead left the road and he hit a guardrail.
