KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
Police are looking for three men who robbed a motel clerk early Tuesday morning.
The robbery happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. at the A-1 Motel located in the 6100 block of East 87th Street, which is east of Troost Avenue and about two blocks south of East 85th Street.
Authorities say at least one man was armed with a gun, but both suspects had their faces covered. The suspects took a 3 foot tall safe from behind the front desk.
The clerk behind the front desk in the lobby was made to get on the floor, but was uninjured.
Police believe a third man driving a car then came around to the front of the motel to pick up the two men and the safe.
