Extra police on hand after threatening message at Olathe South High

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -

Extra police officers were on hand Friday to ensure classes went smoothly at Olathe South High School.

A student on Thursday afternoon discovered a threat written on the stall of a restroom door. The message threatened to blow up the school on Friday.

The district took the threat seriously and worked with Olathe police. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS or the Olathe Police Department at 913-971-6950.
