
A man has declined to press charges against his friend after he stabbed him Thursday.
Police were called to the 10500 block of 71st Terrace about 10:30 p.m. on a report of a disturbance.
When officers arrived, they found that a man had been stabbed and found another man hiding in the bushes.
The victim reported he and a friend had been fighting and that he was stabbed by his friend.
The friend was arrested at the scene, and the victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim later informed detectives that he did not want to press charges against his friend and the man was released from custody.
