Several people injured in separate overnight shootings

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Several people were wounded during two separate shootings overnight.

The first shooting took place in Kansas City, MO.

Police said they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds about 11:30 p.m. Friday near 57th Street and Troost Avenue. There's no word on the victims' conditions.

On the other side of the state line, Kansas City, KS, police are investigating another shooting.

Police said three to five victims were hit by bullets about 3:45 a.m. near 18th Street and Wood Avenue. One victim suffered critical injuries.

So far non of the victims have been identified

No arrests have been made in either incident.

Both police department's criminal investigation bureaus are encouraging anyone with additional information about either incident to please call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
