Both directions of Interstate 70 closed at 23rd Street

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Motorists are urged to avoid Interstate 70 at 23rd Street.

The interstate is closed in both directions. The driver of an SUV rear-ended a truck. One of the vehicles crashed into the concrete divider, damaging it.

As a result, the interstate was closed so that repairs could be made. No one was seriously injured in the crash.
