It's time to clean out your closets and donate those gently used coats and blankets to Project Warmth! The drive helps provide low-income residents with coats during the winter months.
Thank you to those who have donated to Project Warmth and it's not to late to donate for those who have not. This is the 30th year of Project Warmth.
KCTV5 viewers are asked to drop off new or gently used coats and blankets between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the station's studios. Scarves, gloves and mittens are also needed.
The station is located at 4500 Shawnee Mission Parkway in Fairway.
A telethon will be televised Friday from 6:30 to 7 p.m. on KCTV5. The phone lines will open at 8 am.
