OP police: Woman stole $1,500 in eyewear

OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -

Police are looking for a woman who allegedly stole multiple sets of designer eyeglass frames worth about $1500 last month.

Officers took the theft report on Oct. 20 at an Overland Park eye care store.

Employees told police that the woman entered the store and took the frames, placed them in her bag and left the store without paying.

Authorities describe the woman to be in her late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5'6", heavyset with short blond hair that was pulled back with a clip, wearing a white T-shirt with black piping and a black sweater.

Anyone with information on the woman is asked to contact the Overland Park police at 913-344-8750.
