SB I-435 at 48th Street temporarily closed after crash

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle temporarily closed a section of Interstate 435 at 48th Street Wednesday afternoon.

The crash involving a motorcycle officer and another vehicle was reported about 1:45 p.m.

The officer wasn't hurt and the other person suffered minor injuries.

Southbound I-435 at 48th Street was closed and drivers were asked to take an alternate route until the scene is cleared. Officials said traffic was back to normal by 3 p.m.
