Passenger, 82, dies in 2-car wreck in Olathe

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -

Police are still investigating after an 82-year-old woman died in a two-car wreck Saturday.

Officers were called about 5:30 p.m. Saturday to 151st Street and Pflumm Road on an injury accident.

Police said a Chevrolet Impala was heading west on 151st St. and attempted to turn south on Pflumm Rd. when it was struck on the passenger side by a Hyundai Elantra traveling east on 151st St.

The woman passenger in the Chevrolet was transported to an area hospital where she later died.

Authorities case remains under investigation by the Olathe Police Department Traffic Unit.
